The Mandate: Core Responsibilities and Performance Metrics
This is a disciplined, target-driven position requiring consistent activity and a strategic approach to business development.
High-Intensity Outreach: Maintain a rigorous activity level, executing a minimum of 50 professional outbound calls and achieving a minimum of 2 hours of quality talk time each working day to maximise engagement.
Referral Generation: Proactively secure referrals using a structured approach via telephone and sophisticated email-based campaigns.
Sector Focus: Develop and nurture relationships with clients to ensure a consistent pipeline of business.
Account Stewardship: Assume full, ongoing account management responsibility for your assigned agency partners, guaranteeing the delivery of an exceptional standard of customer service.
Strategic Collaboration: Work in close partnership with the Key Account Manager and Regional Sales Manager to devise and execute a targeted new business development strategy.
Market Mapping: Systematically seek out and establish new agency relationships outside the current client base and identify specific, viable vertical markets that align with our target contractor demographic.
Communication Excellence: Provide clear, persuasive, and professional written and verbal communication regarding our product and service offering. Utilise platforms like LinkedIn strategically for business development purposes.
Data Integrity: Ensure meticulous recording of all prospective accounts, detailed profile information, and sales activity within the designated Sales CRM system (Monday.com).
Client Engagement: Attend occasional client meetings and corporate hospitality events as and when required to cement and deepen key partnerships.
