Our client is a leading PAYE Umbrella Company, trusted to deliver high-volume payrolls for a diverse workforce. Known for precision, compliance, and reliability, they process thousands of weekly payrolls, keeping operations seamless day after day.
They’re now seeking an experienced Payroll Lead to take charge of their payroll function, lead a talented team, and push for continuous improvement.

The Role
As Payroll Lead, you’ll:
Oversee end-to-end weekly payrolls for thousands of employees.
Lead and mentor a dedicated payroll team, driving collaboration and high performance.
Ensure 100% compliance with PAYE, NI, pensions, HMRC regulations, and more.
Handle and resolve complex payroll queries with confidence.
Champion process improvements, leveraging tech to boost efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other functions to streamline operations.
About You
Proven track record: 2+ years in payroll management, handling high-volume weekly payrolls.
Leadership: Skilled in motivating and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Compliance expertise: Deep knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
Problem-solver: Analytical thinker with a knack for resolving complex issues.
Sharp communicator: Confident with both stakeholders and reporting.
Change driver: Experience improving processes and implementing new tech solutions.
